‘If You Stop Writing About Us, No Problem’: Amitabh Bachchan Gives a Sharp Reply to Critics in Cryptic Blog Post

Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has shared a cryptic message on his personal blog, taking an apparent dig at people who threaten to stop writing about him. The veteran actor made it clear that such warnings no longer bother him, pointing out that he now has his own platform to share news and updates through his blog.

What Did Amitabh Bachchan Write in His Blog?

Beginning his post with a reference to the changing date, Bachchan wrote that the day had moved from the 28th to the 29th and that he was sitting in front of his laptop in the morning, thinking of putting down his thoughts so there would be no confusion with the date numbering at night.

He then touched upon distance, relationships and his affection for his fans. In the post, he mentioned that he had opened an envelope from a few days earlier and that its contents were being published.

The actor also spoke about the joy of having fans around him. Referring to the previous Sunday, he said that although distances may have increased, his affection, love and respect for them had not diminished and never would.

‘Our Newspaper Now Runs Here’

Taking a pointed swipe at those threatening to stop writing about him, Bachchan wrote, “Now see how this becomes a headline!”

He went on to say that there was no need to be afraid if people stopped writing about him, as his own newspaper now operated through his blog. He added, “You do one, we will do 100.”

The remark appeared to underline his confidence in having a direct channel to communicate with his audience without depending entirely on media coverage.

‘Keep Dancing’: Amitabh Ends the Post on a High Note

Bachchan concluded his message in his trademark energetic style, writing, “Go! Bring your elephants and horses… we will bring ours too! Hathi ghoda palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki! Keep dancing!!!”

The post has drawn attention for its sharp tone and playful response to those he appears to be addressing. However, the actor did not identify anyone directly in the message.

At 84, Bachchan has also spoken recently about his health and the need to give his body more rest. Around Dussehra, he reportedly mentioned that doctors had advised him to take complete rest and focus on his recovery.
